About Woodruff

We opened our first clinical site for ABA therapy services in 2008 at this facility, thanks to Spartanburg School District 4.  In June 2015, we bought the property, making it the first campus owned by Project Hope Foundation. This beautifully renovated 18,000 square foot building is home to a variety of services:

ABA Therapy, supported and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts; a Hope Academy classroom that is a part of our education program; and adult services, including our Printed by Hope business. We also offer speech therapy. Covering approximately 13 acres, this campus includes a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house that has been renovated specifically to provide life skills training in a real-life venue. We also have two outdoor, enclosed areas for play and exercise. The Woodruff Leisure Center, Greenway Trail, and McKinney Park are just minutes away.

This campus and its programs have been generously supported by the Barbara Stone Foundation,  the Clayman family, HKA Enterprises, the Fullerton Foundation, the Mary Black Foundation, the South Carolina Developmental disabilities Council, Spartanburg County Community Development, South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department, Spartanburg County Foundation, Spartanburg Regional Foundation, Women Giving for Spartanburg, and United Way of the Piedmont.

Bethany joined the Project Hope family in June 2013. She has been working with individuals with autism since 2003 when she began working as a line therapist with a 2-year old boy. Since then, she has worked as line therapist, senior therapist, coordinator, and classroom teacher at several organizations, including Mariposa School for Children with Autism, the Early Autism Project, and Gwinnett County Public Schools.

Bethany enjoys working with a variety of learners on the autism spectrum. Her favorite part of her work is celebrating with the treatment team as clients master skills that make a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of their families!

Hailing from western North Carolina, Bethany graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from Wake Forest University in 2006. In January 2011, she completed the required coursework at Florida Institute of Technology and became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.
